Straight answers for Amazon DSP owners.
The questions DSP owners actually ask — about pricing, the trial, Amazon Scorecard and Netradyne imports, automated coaching, fleet tools, and what happens to your data — answered straight.
Pricing & Trial
How much does Hera cost?
Hera costs $9 per active driver per month after a 45-day trial. That one price includes every feature — rostering, performance tracking, automated coaching, fleet management, messaging, device management, and inventory — with no tiers, no per-module add-ons, and no SMS metering. Setup is included too: Hera's team builds your account for you, white-glove.
Do I pay for drivers who quit or go inactive?
No — Hera bills only for active drivers (DAs). DSP turnover is real, and your bill shrinks when your roster does; you're never paying for someone who stopped showing up in March.
How does the 45-day trial work?
Hera's 45-day trial includes every feature — the same full product paying customers use, not a limited tier. That's long enough to import several weekly Amazon Scorecard cycles, run real rosters, and watch real coaching go out before you spend a dollar. No credit card is required to try Hera, and nothing auto-charges — when the trial ends, you choose whether to subscribe.
Does Hera require a contract, and can I cancel anytime?
No contract — Hera is month-to-month, so you can cancel anytime. Billing is in arrears (you pay for the month you just used), and Hera never locks up your data: it can be exported or deleted at any time, so leaving is always in your control.
Is there a discount for veteran-owned DSPs?
Yes — Hera offers a 10% discount for military veteran DSP owners, good for the lifetime of your account. Hera was founded by a Marine Corps veteran, so this one's personal; submit any evidence of military service (just ask in the site chat) to apply it.
Is there a special offer for DSPs in the Amazon Vendor Exchange?
There's a special offer for DSPs in the Amazon Vendor Exchange. You can find Hera in the AVE Business Operations category at logistics.amazon.com/vendor-exchange.
Getting Started
How does setup work, and how long does it take?
Setup is white-glove and done for you — most DSPs are live within a few days. Hera's team imports your associates, vehicles, and devices to get you started; there's no template to fill out and no self-guided wizard, because we want you operating in Hera, not configuring it. You don't have to do anything but hand off your info.
Do my drivers need to download an app?
No — DAs interact with Hera through SMS, email, and password-less links, with no app download or account required. Daily vehicle photo logs open from a one-tap link, coaching and roster assignments arrive by text or email, and counseling signatures can be captured from any phone. Managers work in Hera's web app from any device (native iOS and Android apps are on the way), but DA adoption never depends on getting 40 drivers to install anything.
What devices does Hera run on?
Hera is web-based and runs on any device with a browser — desktop, tablet, or phone; native iOS and Android apps are on the way. Managers log in at go.hera.app, and each user gets an individual login with permission-based access, so you control who sees sensitive records like gas card PINs or drug tests. You can even send and receive company texts from your own cell phone, so dispatch doesn't end when you leave the station.
Amazon Data, Integrations & Compliance
How does my Amazon Scorecard data get into Hera?
You upload your weekly Amazon Scorecard PDF and POD report directly into Hera, and Hera's AI parses the Scorecard automatically — no retyping, no renaming files. Imported metrics feed each DA's Hera Score and rankings and trigger that week's coaching messages. For best results, import the Scorecard before Sunday (Wednesday is ideal).
Does Hera integrate with Netradyne, Mentor, and other Amazon files?
Yes — Hera imports your daily Netradyne "All Alerts" export and your daily eDriving Mentor file, plus the other standard Amazon DSP files: EOC, PPS, CDF customer feedback, and the Amazon Daily Roster. Upload files exactly as downloaded — unrenamed and unedited — and Hera does the parsing. Alerts land on each DA's record, feed Hera Scores, and trigger the next day's automated coaching at thresholds you set.
Does Hera integrate with ADP, Paycom and Uzio?
Integrations with ADP, Paycom, and Uzio are on our product roadmap. They are not currently available as live syncs. If these integrations are important to your team, let us know—we use customer feedback to help prioritize future development.
Will using Hera put my DSP agreement at risk?
Hera works only from Amazon's standard data exports — the same Scorecard, POD, EOC, PPS, CDF, and roster files you already download yourself from Amazon's portals. There are no browser extensions, no scraping, and nothing bolted onto Amazon's systems. If you can legitimately download the file, Hera can use it — that's the entire mechanism.
Is Hera affiliated with Amazon?
No — Hera is an independent product of Hera Solutions, Inc. and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. or its subsidiaries; Amazon and related marks are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Hera is listed in the Amazon Vendor Exchange — Amazon's marketplace of third-party tools for DSPs, where it is the top-rated DSP app — but an AVE listing is not an Amazon endorsement.
Daily Operations
How does Hera's automated driver coaching work?
Hera builds each day's coaching automatically from all your performance and safety data, then sends it by SMS and email at a daily time you choose — only to associates who are working that day. It's fully automated and saves hours of manual coaching every day; if you want, you can still review or edit any message before it goes out. Hera coaches the misses and the wins — strong performers get Positive Reinforcement messages too — and every threshold is customizable.
Can Hera build my daily roster?
Yes — Hera imports your Amazon Daily Roster in a couple of clicks, then lets you assign routes, staging, vehicles, devices, and parking, set wave times, and manage standbys and rescues. Send the finished roster to every DA by SMS or email, track attendance through the day, capture odometer readings, and attach coaching reminders or custom checklists for drivers and managers.
Does Hera do scheduling?
Hera's Schedule Builder begins beta testing in July 2026; today Hera handles daily rostering, attendance, standbys, and rescues. When it ships, scheduling joins the same flat $9-per-active-driver price — no separate module fee. If scheduling is your number-one pain, ask about the beta.
How does Hera handle driver texting and announcements?
Hera gives your DSP one dedicated company phone number — exclusively yours — with two-way SMS and MMS and a shared inbox your whole office can work from. Messages to multiple DAs deliver individually (no reply-all crossfire), and you can target by roster, filter, or label, with Call Out, NCNS, and VTO DAs automatically excluded. Templates, recurring automated messages, and standup announcements with attachments are built in, and the full history is time-stamped and permission-gated.
How do Hera's vehicle photo logs work?
Each day, DAs get a password-less link — no app, no account — to photograph their vans, and Hera shows each new photo side-by-side with prior ones so new damage is obvious instead of arguable. Photo requirements are configurable, admins can add notes and tie damage records to the vehicle, and Hera AI reviews each submission to flag damage or other vehicle anomalies worth calling out.
Can Hera track fleet maintenance, rentals, and accidents?
Yes — Hera tracks vehicle statuses, gas cards, odometer readings with stale-reading warnings, tire pressure, and maintenance reminders by mileage or date. Rentals get their own records (agency, pickup, and return dates, contracts), and every vehicle has a scannable VIN QR code and an assigned parking space. Accident reports capture photos, documents, and police information, then export as a clean PDF for your insurer.
Does Hera manage devices, uniforms, and other inventory?
Yes — Hera tracks both delivery devices and general inventory, and both are live today. Inventory Management covers any item type — devices, uniforms, first aid kits, office supplies, and really anything you want to track — with stock levels, orders, assignments to DAs or vehicles, and check-out/return reminders. For devices, an exclusive Wireless Support partnership adds true device management: auto-synced device lists, a dashboard that locates each device on a map and shows battery level, plus pushed software updates, remote lock, reboot, and wipe, and in-app repair requests (non–Wireless Support devices can be tracked too).
Records, Safety & Your Data
Does Hera handle OSHA injury reporting?
Yes — Hera records workplace injuries in OSHA Form 301 format, and the download prints as an actual Form 301. Injury records sit alongside accident reports, counselings, and drug test tracking on each DA's profile, so compliance paperwork lives where the rest of your operation does.
Can I export records for insurance or workers' comp claims?
Yes — Hera exports accident reports as PDFs, OSHA Form 301 injury records, digitally signed counselings, maintenance histories, Netradyne alerts, attendance, and complete time-stamped message logs. Counseling signatures are captured from any device, including a phone, so your documentation is ready before anyone asks for it.
Who owns my data — and can I take it with me if I leave?
Your DSP owns its data: Hera never shares or uses your company's data, and it can be exported or deleted at any time, including if you leave. Exports cover rosters, associates, vehicles, counselings, incident and accident reports, injury records, maintenance history, Netradyne alerts, attendance, and message logs — no negotiation required. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest on Amazon Web Services, and every user has an individual, permission-controlled login.
About Hera
Who makes Hera — do they actually get DSP life?
Hera is made by Hera Solutions, Inc., founded in 2020 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Founder and CEO Matthew Goldman is a Marine Corps veteran who operated his own Amazon DSP in Los Angeles starting in 2019 — Hera is the system he built because the tools he needed didn't exist. Support is human: live chat on hera.app and in the app (9–5 Mon–Fri, East and West coast), plus a help center at support.hera.app, and our team does your white-glove setup before you've paid a dollar.
Is Hera a payroll app?
No — Hera is not a payroll app and never processes pay; you keep ADP, Paycom, Uzio, or whoever you use today. Hera handles everything around payroll instead: attendance, schedules sent to DAs, counselings, uniforms, gas card PINs, drug tests, injury reports, and the rest of the DA file. Not a payroll app — just everything else.
Will Hera improve my Amazon Scorecard?
Hera improves Amazon Scorecard performance by putting every metric — Scorecard, Netradyne, EOC, PPS, and customer feedback — on one DA-level record and coaching each DA automatically against thresholds you set. DAs get consistent, documented feedback (including positive reinforcement) instead of whatever the dispatcher remembers, and you get rankings showing exactly who is dragging which metric. Customers reach Fantastic Plus more often with Hera's coaching — and save hours a day doing it.
Where can I see Hera's ratings or reviews?
Hera is the top-rated DSP app in the Amazon Vendor Exchange, Amazon's own directory of tools for Delivery Service Partners — verify it in the Business Operations category at logistics.amazon.com/vendor-exchange. Those ratings come from DSP owners inside Amazon's marketplace, not from a review site Hera controls. Add the 45-day full-feature trial and you can check everything on this page with your own data before paying anything.
